About this opportunity

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service is seeking quotations for the purchase of two new travel trailers for the South Dakota Madison Wildlife Management District through solicitation 140FS226Q0042. The trailers must include one slide-out dinette area, one set of double bunks, and either a queen/king or murphy bed, with water tank capacity of at least 20 gallons. Award will be made to the responsible offeror whose quotation demonstrates the best value to the Government, evaluated on three primary factors: ability to meet technical specifications, lead time after receipt of order, and price. Quotations must be submitted as a single PDF file to Dana Arnold at dana_arnold@fws.gov by March 4, 2026, at 5:00 PM Central Standard Time, and must include a completed SF 1449 form, company information with SAM.gov UEI, signed copies of any amendments, completed representations and certifications, technical specification compliance documentation, estimated delivery timeframe, and pricing.

This is a Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB) set-aside procurement with a 100 percent set-aside for eligible WOSB concerns under NAICS code 336212 with a size standard of 1,000 employees. No specific budget range or award value is disclosed in the solicitation documents. The trailers must be delivered to 23520 South Dakota Highway 19, Madison, SD 57042, on a Free on Board (FOB) Destination basis, with the awardee responsible for all delivery costs and arrangements if trailers cannot be made available for Government pick-up within 100 miles of Madison, South Dakota, or 225 miles of Bismarck, North Dakota. The performance period runs from March 11, 2026, to May 31, 2026, with delivery required by May 31, 2026. Offerors must contact the technical point of contact, Tait Ronningen (tait_ronningen@fws.gov, 701-214-8287), no later than three days prior to delivery to arrange delivery timing, and the contractor is solely responsible for unloading with no government labor or equipment provided. All trailers must be supplied with a Manufacturer's Statement of Origin assigned to the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service and include standard warranty coverage per FAR 52.212-4(o) at delivery.
