The trailers must be 20–26 feet in exterior length with 8-foot width, approximately 6 feet 6 inches or greater interior height, a GVWR of 3,500–8,000 pounds, and hitch weight under 1,200 pounds. Each trailer requires a cargo capacity exceeding 950 pounds, water tank capacity of at least 20 gallons, one slide-out dinette area, one set of double bunks, and either a queen/king or murphy bed. All trailers must be new condition.

Delivery must occur to 23520 South Dakota Highway 19, Madison, SD 57042, with contractors required to provide FOB Destination pricing. If trailers cannot be made available for government pickup within 100 miles of Madison, SD or 225 miles of Bismarck, ND, the awardee must arrange and pay for delivery. Contractors must contact the technical point of contact, Tait Ronningen (tait_ronningen@fws.gov, 701-214-8287), no later than three days before delivery to arrange specific delivery times. The government will provide no labor or equipment for unloading, making that the sole responsibility of the delivery carrier.
