About this opportunity

The Air Force Space and Missile Systems Center is seeking proposals for mission assurance support services for the Rocket Systems Launch Program. The contractor will provide systems engineering, risk management, technical analysis, independent verification and validation, and quality assurance for multiple launch missions and logistics concerns over a five year base period and four optional extension years. Proposals will be evaluated on a combined technical/risk factor significantly more important than cost, considering core efforts and launch verification subfactors. The final solicitation is expected within one week, with any additional comments on the updated draft documents due by March 17, 2020.

The opportunity is set aside for total small businesses and will be conducted as an indefinite delivery indefinite quantity contract. The primary NAICS code is 541715 and PSC code is R425. Dependent on task orders, facility security clearance up to Secret as well as personnel clearances up to Secret/NOFORN may be required. Pricing will be on a cost-plus-fixed-fee basis. Services will include sustainment of deactivated excess ballistic missiles, aging surveillance, and independent validation and verification for multiple upcoming launch missions over the nine year period of performance.
