About this opportunity
The Research Enabling Procurement for Aerospace Systems (REPAS) program seeks to advance propulsion, power and thermal management technologies through component design and development, subsystem integration, and bench, rig and engine testing. The Air Force Research Laboratory Aerospace Systems Directorate will evaluate proposals to provide these research services with the goal of transitioning technologies to warfighters. Proposals are due October 5, 2020 and must include an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract proposal along with at least one proposed initial Task Order. Technical merit will be the most important factor in evaluations, followed by management approach and cost.
There is no set-aside designation for this opportunity. Relevant NAICS codes include 336411 and 336412, with PSC codes R408 and R425. The Broad Agency Announcement anticipates awarding approximately two IDIQ contracts worth up to $96 million total to support six initial task orders. Efforts will be performed on-site at various Air Force Research Laboratory facilities and involve work from up to 51 contractor personnel over multiple years.
