The Department of Veterans Affairs Veterans Health Administration Veterans Integrated Service Network 9 is procuring the replacement of high efficiency condensing hot water boilers at the Franklin R Sousley Campus of the Lexington VAMC. The project involves replacing six boilers across buildings 2, 3, and 4, with building 2 and 4 each receiving 4 units rated at 500 MBH capacity, while building 3 will receive 2 units rated at 1,500 MBH capacity. The contractor must provide new high-efficiency condensing hot water boilers with stainless steel heat exchangers, natural gas fired systems, and maintain continuous hot water service with no building's heating loop out of service for more than 4 consecutive hours between September 1 and May 1.
