About this opportunity

The Department of the Air Force Space Command is soliciting proposals for comprehensive repair services for a Vehicle Maintenance (VM) Warehouse located at Nevatim Air Base in Israel. The project encompasses five primary work areas: roof repairs to address detached sections, replacement of fifty-six windows with High Density Polyethylene and aluminum frames, installation of four electrically operated overhead doors, investigation and resolution of electrical panel circuit breaker issues, and upgrading warehouse lighting to LED fixtures meeting specific illuminance requirements. Contractors must provide all personnel, equipment, tools, supervision, and administrative services necessary to complete the repairs within a 180-calendar day performance period, beginning within 10 calendar days of receiving notice to proceed. The government will evaluate proposals using a Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) methodology, with all pricing to be submitted in U.S. dollars. Critical dates include the site visit held on July 16, 2025, questions deadline of July 20, 2025 (later extended to July 30), and the final proposal submission deadline of August 11, 2025, at 12:00 PM local time.

This solicitation carries no set-aside designation and is open to all qualified contractors meeting the small business size standard of $45 million in annual receipts under NAICS code 236220. The estimated contract value ranges between $500,000 and $1,000,000, structured as a firm fixed-price contract with five separate line items corresponding to each repair task. Performance will occur exclusively at Nevatim Air Base in Israel, requiring contractors to comply with stringent Israeli Air Force base security requirements including personnel clearance procedures, restricted working hours, and mandatory escort protocols. Contractors must coordinate base access through designated points of contact and ensure all employees undergo security approval processes at least four weeks prior to work commencement. The project requires adherence to both U.S. and host nation building codes and safety regulations, with contractors responsible for obtaining all necessary permits and achieving final certificate of occupancy upon completion.
