Added: Jul 07, 2014 8:58 am The 934th Airlift Wing (AFRC) will be soliciting for Project #QJKL 08-0043, Repair Life Support, Bldg. 830. Location is at the airbase on Highway 62 and Crosstown Ave. Full address for mailing bids is: 934 CONF/LGC, Attn: Cindy Murry, 760 Military Highway Bldg 729, Minneapolis MN 55450-2100.

Work to be performed within NAICS code: 236220 size standard $33.5M. Work to include (but is not limited to) repair the interior, removal of old and obsolete parachute drying equipment, replacement of existing HVAC (heating, ventilation, air conditioning) units and ductwork, interior finishes, and structural foundation repairs. Location will be at bldg. 830, at Minneapolis-St Paul Air Reserve Station, Minneapolis MN. Performance period is 270 days after notice to proceed issuance.


An Invitation for Bid (IFB) is contemplated IAW FAR part 14 with a 30 day response time after issuance. This acquisition is being solicited pursuant to FAR Part 19.5, and is issued as a Total Small Business Set-Aside, competitive IFB. Magnitude of acquisition is between $1M and $5M and award shall be firm fixed price.

The solicitation #FA6633-14-B0002 will be available via electronic means only, on or about 11 Aug 2014. The entire solicitation will be posted at this website https://www.fbo.gov for download. Telephone requests will not be honored. Plans and specifications will also be available for examination without charge at the Contracting Office upon coordination with the assigned Contract Specialist. Once the solicitation is posted, it is the responsibility of the Contractor to obtain all necessary updates/amendments. A site visit will be conducted as identified in the IFB, Section L, FAR Clause 52.236-27 "Site Visit (Construction)"


All contractors must be registered in the System Award Management (SAM) database to be eligible to receive award http://www.sam.gov and have completed the On-line Representations and Certifications at that site.
