The 176th Air Wing of the Alaska Air National Guard intends to issue a solicitation seeking a firm fixed-price contract to repair engineering and contracting offices at buildings 7252, 7242, and 7246 at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson in Alaska. Work includes insulating walls and ceilings, constructing a mezzanine, and installing lighting and heating systems. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this work is 236220 Commercial and Institutional Building Construction. This will be a total small business set- aside. The small business size standard is $36.5 million average annual revenue. Your attention is directed to FAR CLAUSE 52.219-14 (b) (4) LIMITATIONS ON SUBCONTRACTING which states "By submission of an offer and execution of a contract, the Offeror /Contractor agrees that in performance of the contract the concern will perform at least 15 percent of the cost of the contract, not including the cost of materials, with its own employees" applies to this project.

The tentative date for issuing the solicitation is on or about 31 May 2022, and the tentative closing date is on or about 30 June 2022.  Actual date of time of closing will be identified in the solicitation. An organized site visit will be coordinated and announced, at the latest, when the solicitation is posted.

The solicitation and associated information and the plans and specifications will be available only from the Contract Opportunities (sam.gov) website now located online at https://www.sam.gov/.  Sam.gov is a web-based dissemination tool designed to safeguard acquisition-related information for all Federal agencies.

Contractor's submitting a proposal must have a Cage Code and be registered in the System of Award Management (SAM) at https://www.sam.gov. Registration requires applicants to have a Unique Entity Identifier (UEID) number from Dunn & Bradstreet.
