About this opportunity
The Department of Veterans Affairs Veterans Health Administration (VA) is seeking teleradiology services for the Philadelphia VA Medical Center's Diagnostic Radiology Service. The pre-solicitation notice is a Sources Sought Request for Information (RFI) designed to conduct market research and develop an acquisition strategy for professional teleradiology imaging interpretation services. Interested contractors must provide board-certified radiologists capable of performing off-site diagnostic image interpretations through secure network connections, primarily during nights, weekends, and holidays. Respondents are required to submit a capability statement and brief expression of interest to Contract Specialist Jami Cade by March 5, 2025, at 15:00 EST. While the VA welcomes responses from all capable contractors, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB) and Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (VOSB) are preferred, with SDVOSB/VOSB firms required to provide SBA VetCert certification proof.
The contract will have a base year with three option years, covering teleradiology services for various imaging modalities including X-ray, ultrasound, CT, CTA, MRI, and MRA. Contractors must meet specific performance requirements such as rapid turnaround times (1 hour for STAT/ED/inpatient cases, 24-48 hours for routine outpatient exams) and maintain 99% system uptime. Services must be performed within the United States by U.S.-based radiologists with appropriate malpractice insurance. The procurement is not set aside for any specific small business category, though SDVOSB/VOSB firms are strongly encouraged to respond. The suggested NAICS code is 621512 (Diagnostic Imaging Centers) with a Product Service Code of Q999 (Medical - Other). Contractors with existing GSA Federal Supply Schedule contracts within the scope of this effort are asked to identify their contract numbers when responding.
