Designs must comply with AASHTO LRFD Bridge Design Specifications and LRFD Guide Specifications for Pedestrian Bridges, accommodate pedestrian live loads of 90 psf minimum and snow loads of 120 psf, and feature user barrier systems with top rail heights of at least 42 inches. All timber must meet AWPA Use Category 3B preservative treatment; hardware must comply with AASHTO M270 and ASTM standards. Individual components cannot exceed 1,300 pounds for transportation.

Delivery is freight-on-board destination to Woodland Park Work Center by May 31, 2027 (extended from December 1, 2026 via Amendment 0002). The contractor must provide sealed design submittals for 30-day Government review before fabrication begins and furnish assembly instructions, component lists, tool and equipment requirements, and ten percent extra fasteners in watertight containers upon delivery. Questions are due July 24, 2026. Evaluation uses Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) methodology. A firm-fixed-price purchase order is anticipated.
