About this opportunity
The Indian Health Service, under the Department of Health and Human Services, is soliciting quotations for preventive maintenance and repair services for endoscopes at Phoenix Indian Medical Center (PIMC). Key qualifications include Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) authorization, current OEM-trained and certified technicians, compliance with NFPA 99 and 101 standards and Joint Commission requirements, and all work must restore equipment to OEM specifications. The evaluation will be conducted on a best-value basis across three factors: Technical Capability (including technical approach, personnel qualifications, and quality control plans), Past Performance (requiring 2-3 recent references from the past 3-5 years), and Price, with technical capability and past performance weighted significantly more heavily than price. Questions must be submitted by April 10, 2026, at 5:00 PM MST, and all quotations are due April 24, 2026, at 1:00 PM MST, with offers remaining firm for at least 120 days from receipt.
This procurement is designated as a Total Small Business Set-Aside under FAR 52.219-6 and carries NAICS Code 811210. The contract covers services for 22 endoscopes used in the Operating Room and runs on a Firm Fixed Price basis with a base year from April 1, 2026, through March 31, 2027, plus four optional renewal years extending through March 31, 2031. No specific budget value is publicly disclosed in the solicitation materials. The contractor must submit detailed service repair reports within 15 calendar days of service completion, provide a detailed service schedule for PIMC approval prior to work commencement, and warrant all services for a minimum of 30 days from Government acceptance. All services will be performed at Phoenix Indian Medical Center in Phoenix, Arizona, with the contractor responsible for all ground transportation and on-site work within designated hospital areas, operating in a HIPAA-compliant manner within an active hospital environment.
