About this opportunity
The contract is for the provision of patient transport services for the Joint Base San Antonio (JBSA) area, including military treatment facilities, civilian hospitals, and residences within 300 miles of San Antonio. The contractor will provide interfacility transport services, ambulance transports for air evacuation, and ground transport services 24/7, including Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Life Support (ALS), and Critical Care Transport (CCT). The period of performance is for one base year of 12 months and four 12-month option years, starting from 15th December 2023.

- Ground transport services 24/7
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Advanced Life Support (ALS)
- Critical Care Transport (CCT)
- Management and operation plans
- Contingency Plan for inclement weather, breakdown, insufficient drivers and emergency evacuation
- Quality Control Plan
- Security compliance
- Criminal background checks on individuals providing services
- Compliance with health requirements and immunizations
- Compliance with special qualifications and mandatory training
- Compliance with investigation requirements
- Compliance with HIPAA and Privacy Act Training
- Compliance with Sexual Assault policy
- Phase-in transition period.

Offers are due by 2 October 2023, 10:00 AM, Central Standard Time (unless extended via amendment). Offers shall be submitted via e-mail to patrick.a.thielemann.civ@health.mil and salameya.paulouskaya.civ@health.mil. Offers received after the deadline will be considered untimely and will not be eligible for award.
The deadline for questions is 12 September 2023, 10:00 AM, Central Standard Time (questions submitted after this deadline will not be answered). All questions shall be submitted in writing to patrick.a.thielemann.civ@health.mil and salameya.paulouskaya.civ@health.mil.
The Offeror is responsible for notifying the government of any changes in point of contact (POC) during the acquisition process and the life of the Contract.
Electronic submissions with files larger than 20MB will need to be submitted in separate emails. All emails, regardless of the size, need to be received by the Government server, by the stated date and time. It is the offeror's responsibility to ensure the Government receives the entire quote.
