About this opportunity
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is seeking an aviation-specific document management solution that provides the ability to create, edit, review, and provide access to policy and technical publications. This is a pre-solicitation, and the FAA is conducting a market survey to determine if adequate competition exists to set aside the procurement for small businesses, service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses, or 8(a) certified firms. Interested vendors are requested to submit capability statements by May 21, 2024, which should include details on past contracts, years in business, SBA 8(a) certification if applicable, and expected delivery timeframe. All questions should be submitted by May 17, 2024, and the FAA anticipates awarding a fixed-price contract.
The principal NAICS code for this effort is 488190 Other Support Activities for Air Transportation with a $40 million size standard. The FAA is not seeking unsolicited proposals at this time, and the nature of the competition has not been determined. The FAA is seeking interest from the small business community, and any resultant contract will require technical support and continuous operations throughout the contract period.
Notice text
The FAA has a requirement to provide Flight Program Operations an aviation-specific document management solution that provides the ability to create, edit, review, and provide access to policy and technical publications. Responses to this Request for Information will be used for informational purposes only. This is not a Screening Information Request or Request for Proposal of any kind. The FAA is not seeking nor accepting unsolicited proposals.
At this time the nature of the competition has not been determined. The FAA is seeking interest from the small business community for possible set-aside of all or part of the procurement. Responses are desired from any/all eligible small businesses, service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses or eligible socially and economically disadvantaged businesses that are certified by the SBA for participation in the SBA's 8(a) Program. FAA anticipates that any resultant contract will be a Fixed-Price contract.
The purpose of this market survey is to solicit statements of interest and capabilities from small businesses, in particular service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses and 8(a) certified firms, capable of providing the required items. This market survey is also being conducted in order to obtain the information necessary to determine whether adequate competition exists to set-aside the competition among small businesses, service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses, or 8(a) certified firms.
The scope of work consists of providing a response outlining the capabilities specific requirements under the Requirement Specifications and Statement of Work (SOW) attached.
The principle North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this effort is 488190 Other Support Activities for Air Transportation with a size standard of 40 million.
