About this opportunity

The Medical Readiness Contracting Office - West is soliciting proposals to acquire a personal services contract to provide twenty full-time nurse case managers to support Brooke Army Medical Center at Joint Base San Antonio. The contract will be awarded on a firm-fixed price basis for a one-year base period from April 1, 2023 through March 31, 2024, plus four one-year option periods. Proposals will be evaluated based on past performance, compensation plans, and price, with past performance being the most important factor. Questions are due by December 28, 2022, with proposals due by January 18, 2023.

This requirement is being set aside for 8(a) small businesses under NAICS code 621399 for offices of all other miscellaneous health practitioners, with a size standard of $9 million. The contract is a follow-on to an existing requirement currently filled by nine incumbent nurse case managers. The place of performance will be Joint Base San Antonio. Evaluation will consider past performance, compensation plans demonstrating the ability to attract qualified nurses, and price to select the best value.

The Medical Readiness Contracting Office - West, (MRCO-W), Fort Sam Houston, TX is issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) to support Brooke Army Medical Center, Joint Base San Antonio to acquire a personal services contract to provide twenty (20) Full Time (FTE) Nurse Case Managers (NCM) to provide patient centered, individual, and family level case management.

This requirement is being solicited as an 8(a) competitive procurement using Best Value – Trade Off Source Selection procedures. Therefore, only 8(a) certified Small Businesses will be considered. The Government will be awarding a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) contract with base period of twelve (12) months, 01 April 2023 through 31 March 2024, plus four (4), 12-month option years. The Government reserves the right to exercise or not exercise the option periods as specified. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this solicitation is 621399 – Office of All Other Miscellaneous Health Practitioners. The Small Business Size Standard for this NAICS is $9M.
