About this opportunity
The National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke requires warehouse storage and transportation services to support its Animal Health Care Section. Due to lack of space at its Building 35/35A Shared Animal Facility, the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke seeks a minimum of 3,500 square feet of off-site secured dry storage within 50 miles of Bethesda, Maryland. Quotes will be evaluated on technical capability, relevant experience, project management approach, and past performance, with technical factors considered significantly more important than price. Price reasonableness will also be assessed. Quotes are due by March 15, 2023.
This solicitation is set aside for total small business and has a NAICS code of 493110, General Warehousing and Storage, with a $34 million size standard. The incumbent contractor is Pakolatus, LLC. The base period of performance is one year starting April 3, 2023, with four one-year option periods and pricing must be firm-fixed for each period. Services will include storage of at least 3,500 square feet as well as transportation of items between the warehouse and NIH campus facilities up to twelve round trips annually.
