About this opportunity

The Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) is seeking to award a firm fixed-price contract for multibeam and LiDAR training services to support the Naval Meteorology and Oceanography Command's (NMOC) international hydrographic survey training program. The training will be conducted over 9 weeks from June 3, 2024 to August 2, 2024 at the NAVOCEANO Boat Operations Branch in Pass Christian, MS. The training objectives include teaching students the theory and practical application of multibeam survey practices, including planning, data collection, and analysis using NORBIT multibeam and LiDAR systems. Offers are due by April 30, 2024, and pricing and supporting cost information are requested to determine price reasonableness.

This is an unclassified, public release training requirement that is not set aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 611430 - Professional and Management Development Training, with a size standard of $15,000,000. The government plans to award the contract on a sole-source basis to Norbit USA LTD, as they are the only vendor capable of providing the full scope of required training, which is proprietary in nature due to the specialized equipment.
