About this opportunity

The 349th Air Mobility Wing at Travis Air Force Base, California seeks purchase and installation of new office furniture for the command section and Financial Management office, with proposals due September 15, 2026 at 12:00 PM Pacific Time. This is a Total Small Business Set-Aside, limiting competition to certified small businesses.

Place of performance is Travis Air Force Base, California (Building 228, 690 Airmen Drive). The contractor shall provide all parts, tools, equipment, supplies, and labor necessary for assembly, installation, and disposal of existing furniture in accordance with the Statement of Work. All furniture must be mahogany in color and matching throughout each room; "mahogany in color" permits high-pressure laminate and commercial-grade woodgrain finishes as alternatives to wood veneer. All seating must comply with BIFMA standards with adjustable features including arm height, seat height, lumbar support, and stable base. Each workstation requires a minimum of three AC power outlets. All new items must come with a one-year warranty. The contractor must provide cable troughs or conduit for LAN and power cables with easy access for government maintenance.

The NAICS code is 337214 (Office Furniture except Wood Manufacturing); PSC is 7110 (Office Furniture). Contractors requiring base access must pass identity proofing and vetting including NCIC and CLETS checks, or possess a current favorable government security clearance. Primary contractors must submit Entry Authority Lists at least 45 days before contract start. Contractors with contracts over 90 days must complete Level I Antiterrorism Awareness training. All equipment must be new; refurbished equipment is not acceptable. Evaluation prioritizes technical merit (Acceptable/Unacceptable basis), followed by past performance and price reasonableness. The anticipated award date is on or about September 15, 2026. Amendment 1 extended the solicitation deadline from September 11 to September 15, 2026, and attached RFI responses.
