About this opportunity
The Maryland Army National Guard is seeking a licensed medical provider to conduct periodic health assessments, pre/post deployment health assessments, physical examinations for aviation and special military schools, and miscellaneous medical examinations to improve Individual Medical Readiness for MDARNG personnel. The contractor must provide a qualified medical provider (MD, DO, PA, or NP) with a current Maryland state license, Basic Life Support certification, and minimum three years of experience with military populations. The primary objective is to maintain 90-100% medical readiness for soldiers through approximately 2,000 annual medical readiness examinations while monitoring 4,300 service members. Evaluation criteria include technical capability (8(a) program registration and qualified personnel), past performance ratings through CPARS/FAPIIS, and pricing considerations. The solicitation deadline is 11:00 AM EST on July 11, 2025, with quotes to be submitted via email to the contracting office.
This opportunity is set aside for 8(a) Small Business Program participants, with the incumbent contractor identified as FEMDEL LLC who previously held contract W912K624P0020 valued at $109,399.60. The contract requires 1,256 hours of service over a 12-month base period from July 29, 2025, to July 28, 2026, operating Tuesday through Friday between 0800-1630 hours. Services will be performed at two Maryland locations: Camp Fretterd Military Reservation in Reisterstown and The Flight Surgeon's Clinic in Edgewood, with typically three days at the first location and one day at the second. The contractor must provide personnel capable of driving to both locations as remote work and telework are explicitly not authorized. Two medical providers currently fulfill the contract requirements, working when clinics are operational with consideration for federal holidays and unpaid lunch breaks.
