This document is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) file for a medical provider solicitation for the Maryland Army National Guard. The Q&A addresses eight key clarification points regarding the Performance Work Statement (PWS), including equipment requirements, scope of services, medical provider qualifications, and administrative details. Key points include:

The solicitation is for one full-time equivalent (FTE) medical provider to conduct periodic health assessments, pre/post deployment health assessments, physical examinations for aviation and special military schools, and miscellaneous examinations to improve Individual Medical Readiness. The medical provider will be required to have a stethoscope, conduct physical assessments, understand normal/abnormal health indicators, and educate soldiers on health and wellness resources. The government will provide limited written resources, and the provider will need to wear business casual or clinic-appropriate clothing. Background checks and access credentials will be processed on a case-by-case basis, with final onsite performance dependent on investigation results.
