About this opportunity

The Defense Logistics Agency Land and Maritime is issuing a draft solicitation for the Maritime Acquisition Advancement Contract (MAAC), an Indefinite-Delivery Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) multiple award contract. The MAAC will provide broad support to the U.S. Naval Supply Weapon Systems Support (NAVSUP WSS), DLA, the Department of Defense (DoD), and other federal agencies, with a focus on maritime-related commercial and non-commercial items and incidental services across 10 Integrated Weapons Systems Team categories. The Government will evaluate proposals based on factors such as past performance, program management, supply chain management, and price. The draft solicitation will be open for 30 days, closing on October 3, 2024, to allow for review and feedback, but no proposals will be accepted during this period.

The MAAC contract does not have a set-aside designation. The total contract ceiling is $10 billion, with a 5-year base ordering period and five 1-year option periods. The Government intends to make multiple awards, with each awarded contract providing all items and incidental services that fit within the contract scope. Potential incumbents or current contractors are not named in the pre-solicitation notice.
