About this opportunity
The Defense Logistics Agency Land and Maritime is seeking to award a multiple-award Indefinite-Delivery Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) contract called the Maritime Acquisition Advancement Contract (MAAC). The scope of the contract includes a broad range of commercial and non-commercial items and incidental services to support the Department of Defense and other Federal Agencies, with a primary focus on the Naval Supply Weapon Systems Support (NAVSUP WSS). The contract will cover over 100,000 maritime equipment items across 10 Integrated Weapons Systems Team categories such as Amphibious, Carrier, and Submarine. Evaluation criteria will include the offerors' supply chain management capabilities, ability to provide 95% of sampled items, and pricing for a list of 100 sample items.
The MAAC contract will have a 5-year ordering period with five 1-year option periods, for a total potential 10-year contract duration. The Government intends to make multiple awards with a combined maximum ceiling of $10 billion. Small business participation is required at a minimum of 40% of the total order value, and the Government may set aside orders under $250,000 solely for small business awardees. Responses to the market survey are due by February 29, 2024, and the final solicitation is planned to be released on September 3, 2024, with proposals due by October 3, 2024.
