This is a sole source procurement that the Government intends to award to Rees Scientific Corporation under a non-competitive procedure authorized by 10 USC 2304(c)(1), which permits awards when only one responsible source exists. The special notice was posted on March 25, 2026, with a response deadline of April 8, 2026. The requirement falls under NAICS code 811210 (Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance) with a business size standard of $34,000,000. While the notice indicates a sole source award is intended, it explicitly invites competing firms to submit written notification if they believe they can meet the requirements.

The objective of this procurement is to secure preventive maintenance and repair services for Rees Scientific temperature monitoring devices and systems at Naval Hospital Pensacola and its branch clinics. Interested contractors must submit written evidence by 4:00 P.M. Central Standard Time on April 8, 2026, demonstrating their ability to service and maintain the Rees Scientific Monitoring System, including access to proprietary software, tools, and qualified personnel. Only written submissions are acceptable; oral communications will not be considered. The contract will be awarded under commercial procedures in FAR Part 12 and will include the provision of trained on-site personnel, travel, supplies, parts, tools, test equipment, consumables, hardware, and software necessary for scheduled preventative maintenance, calibration procedures, and unscheduled repairs. If no affirmative responses are received by the deadline, the award will proceed without further notice to the designated sole source contractor.
