Contractor must comply with detailed fire precaution protocols ranging from Plan A (normal operations) through Plan D (operations shutdown), with fire guards and specialized equipment required under Plans B, C, or D. Amendment 001, issued August 24, includes site visit notes and clarifies that hauling is mandatory with both mandatory and optional items; offerors must budget for culverts and road materials and are responsible for full suspension of logs from restricted areas. The contractor must also maintain 5.26 miles of National Forest Service Roads (NFSR 89 and 89A) with no Forest Service compensation.

The contract is firm-fixed-price with all mandatory and optional line items priced for consideration. Evaluation criteria and weighting are not specified in the source materials.
