About this opportunity
The Department of the Air Force Space Command, through the 30th Contracting Squadron, is seeking to establish a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) for lodging services to accommodate approximately 33 Traditional Reservists from the 9th Combat Operations Squadron during Unit Training Assembly (UTA) drills at Vandenberg Space Force Base. The solicitation requires hotels or lodging providers to offer single rooms with specific amenities including full/queen beds, private bathrooms, work areas, and in-room safes, along with 24/7 reservation services and compliance with the Hotel and Motel Fire Safety Act. All offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) and hold a CAGE code to be eligible for award consideration. The evaluation will be based solely on price, with the government seeking the most advantageous pricing from responsible offerors. Questions regarding the solicitation were due by July 17, 2025, at 1300 PT, while quotes must be submitted by July 21, 2025, at 1200 PT to the designated contracting officers.
This opportunity does not utilize any set-aside designations and is open to all qualified vendors under NAICS code 721110 with a small business size standard of $40 million. The government anticipates issuing multiple awards under this BPA structure, which will run from July 25, 2025, to July 25, 2030, with an annually updated Approved Price List. Previous contract numbers FA461020A0001, FA461020A0003, and FA461020A0005 indicate this is a recurring requirement rather than a new procurement need. The lodging accommodations must be provided within reasonable distance of Vandenberg Space Force Base in Lompoc, California, with preference given to facilities located closest to the base. Services will be required approximately once monthly for two-day periods to support the squadron's drill schedule, with payment processed via government purchase credit card.
