About this opportunity
The Minnesota Army National Guard seeks furnishing and installation of 164 double-tier storage lockers and full-turnkey wire mesh security caging for its Rosemount, Minnesota facility, with quotes due June 12, 2026, at 10:00 AM CDT. The procurement is set aside for Women-Owned Small Businesses (WOSB) and issued under FAR Part 12 on Standard Form 1449.
Place of performance is Rosemount, Minnesota. The NAICS code is 337215, Showcase, Partition, Shelving, and Locker Manufacturing; PSC code is 7125, Cabinets, Lockers, Bins, and Shelving.
The hybrid scope divides responsibility: Part A requires purchase and FOB Destination delivery of 164 independent, fully enclosed double-tier starter units (36" wide × 36" deep × 90" high maximum) with expanded steel mesh construction in 13-gauge steel or thicker, individual lockable compartments, and internal shelves rated for 150-pound distributed loads; the Government handles assembly and installation. Part B requires full-turnkey fabrication and installation of wire mesh security caging across nine rooms (120D, 120A, 120C, 133a, 133b, 142, 140), including mandatory post-award site verification and custom on-site fabrication around building obstructions such as pipes, conduits, and ceiling trusses. Caging specifications include 10-gauge woven wire mesh (2" × 1" rectangular or 10-gauge 1" × 1" diamond pattern as acceptable alternatives), 1.25" × 1.25" × 0.125" steel angle frames, 2" × 2" 14-gauge square steel tubing posts, and gray alkyd enamel primer finish. Standard sliding gates are acceptable substitutes for barn-style doors where specified.
All work must complete within 90 days after receipt of order, Monday–Friday 0800–1600 (excluding Federal Holidays), with 48-hour advance security coordination. Evaluation weights Technical Capability and Experience (Factor 1) and Past Performance (Factor 2) equally and together significantly more important than Price (Factor 3). Contracting Officer is Eric Ahlgren, eric.a.ahlgren.civ@army.mil, 320-616-2775. Five amendments (0001–0005) have issued, incorporating Q&A responses and providing site photographs, layout diagrams, and ceiling truss photos.
