About this file

This is a Statement of Work (SOW) for locker storage solutions and security caging required by the Minnesota Army National Guard at a facility in Rosemount, MN. The solicitation, issued as an SF 1449 under FAR Part 12 for commercial products and services, encompasses two distinct parts: Part A requires the purchase and FOB Destination delivery of 164 double-tier storage lockers that must be delivered as independent, fully enclosed "starter" units with assembly and installation performed by the Government; Part B requires full-turnkey fabrication and installation of wire mesh security caging enclosures and partitions by the Contractor, including a mandatory post-award site verification visit and custom on-site fabrication to accommodate building obstructions. The caging specification accepts either the primary mesh requirement or 10-gauge wire mesh woven into a 1-inch by 1-inch diamond pattern as an acceptable alternative, with standard sliding gates acceptable as substitutes for barn-style doors where specified.

The solicitation (W912LM-26-Q-A012) includes multiple amendments addressing vendor questions and providing clarifications, representative site photos, and updated layout diagrams for the various rooms requiring caging installation. Questions from interested offerors were due June 10, 2026, at 10:00 AM CDT, with quotes due June 12, 2026, at 10:00 AM CDT. All submissions and inquiries should be directed to Contracting Officer Eric Ahlgren at eric.a.ahlgren.civ@army.mil. The hybrid scope places responsibility on offerors to account for overhead obstructions such as pipes and conduits during the caging design and fabrication phase.
