About this opportunity
The Department of Agriculture Forest Service's Wayne National Forest is soliciting repair services for three septic lift stations at the Leith Run Campground that sustained flood damage during multiple Ohio River flooding events in spring 2024. The procurement involves replacing control panels and float switch systems, as well as installing two new Power-Flo PFSE774 sewage pumps that will be provided by the Forest Service at the Main Lift Station, Dump Station, and Shower House Lift Station. Contractors must furnish all personnel, labor, equipment, materials, and services necessary to fully restore the three lift stations, submit a project plan within five business days of contract award, and provide weekly status reports throughout the performance period. The government will evaluate offers based on price, past performance, and technical capability, with technical capability and past performance being equivalent factors when compared to price. Quotes are due by August 27, 2025, at 11:00 a.m., and must be submitted via email to the contracting officer.
This solicitation is set aside for total small business under NAICS code 562991, with no incumbent contractor as this represents a brand-new contract opportunity. The firm fixed-price contract will have a 30-day performance period after award and will be awarded to the responsible offeror whose conforming proposal is most advantageous to the government considering price and other factors. The work will be performed at the Leith Run Campground located at 44400 OH-7, New Matamoras, Ohio 45767, within Washington County. While specific contract values are not disclosed in the available documentation, the scope involves repairs to three distinct lift stations with the main lift station containing two pumps, including at least one 3 HP model. Contractors must maintain active System for Award Management registration and comply with applicable wage determinations covering Ohio counties of Monroe, Morgan, Noble, and Washington, with minimum wage requirements of $17.75 per hour for contracts entered into after January 30, 2022.
