About this opportunity

The United States Marine Corps is seeking to procure the leasing of non-tactical vehicles (NTVs) for support operations in the Fairbanks, Alaska area under Solicitation Number M67001-26-Q-0026. The requirement encompasses various vehicle types including stake beds, vans, SUVs, and passenger vehicles equipped with winter tires and chains, all with 2015 or newer model years. Key contract requirements include 24/7 roadside assistance, comprehensive insurance, full maintenance support including parts and labor, recovery services within five hours, and individual fuel cards for each vehicle. The government will award a firm fixed-price contract for commercial services, with evaluation criteria consisting of price, technical capability of the vehicles to meet the government's requirements, and past performance. The deadline for submission of quotes is February 10, 2026 at 3:00 PM EST, with Amendment 1 extending the original deadline from February 9, 2026.

This procurement is a 100 percent small business set-aside under NAICS code 532111 (Passenger Car Rental) with a $47 million size standard, meaning only small businesses qualifying under this classification may compete. No incumbent contractors are identified in the solicitation documents. The estimated contract period of performance runs from February 19, 2026 through March 16, 2026, representing a short-duration exercise rather than a long-term fleet commitment. The solicitation involves approximately 29 non-tactical vehicles across 13 contract line items with varying rental durations measured in total days of service rather than fixed vehicle counts. Performance will take place in the vicinity of Fairbanks, Alaska, with vehicle delivery to Fort Eielson Air Force Base by 7:00 AM and pickup at 10:00 AM, and operations primarily occurring in the Donnelly Training Area and Eielson Support Base.
