About this opportunity

The Department of Veterans Affairs Veterans Health Administration Veterans Integrated Service Network 16 is seeking a continuous environmental monitoring system for temperature and humidity monitoring at the Veterans Health Care System of the Ozarks (VHSO) in Fayetteville, Arkansas, and surrounding Community Based Outpatient Clinics. The procurement requires a comprehensive monitoring solution that includes NIST and ISO 17025 certified equipment, 24/7 monitoring capabilities, customizable alert systems, calibration services, installation, remote support, and ongoing maintenance to ensure regulatory compliance with standards from The Joint Commission, CDC, FDA, and AABB. The system must monitor 193 active and disabled monitoring points across multiple departments including Pharmacy, Laboratory, Surgery/Engineering, Sterile Processing, Nursing, Nutrition and Food Service, Engineering, Logistics, and Canteen areas. However, the original solicitation 36C25625R0131 has been canceled in its entirety, with all previously received proposals deemed invalid. The government intends to resolicit this requirement under a new solicitation number at a later date, and offerors are advised to monitor SAM.gov for the forthcoming resolicitation notice and updated documents.

This procurement is designated as a 100% set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses under NAICS code 811210 with a size standard of $34 million. The original solicitation indicated a maximum contract capacity of $1,000,000 with a total contract value potential of $34 million, structured as five consecutive 12-month ordering periods from September 24, 2025, to September 23, 2030. The monitoring system must cover various critical environments including sterile rooms, medical storage units, refrigeration equipment, medication storage areas, food preparation spaces, and specialized clinical environments such as operating rooms, endoscopy areas, and laboratory spaces. Performance will be at 1100 N College Ave, Fayetteville, Arkansas 72703, encompassing the main VHSO facility and associated Community Based Outpatient Clinics throughout the service area. No incumbent contractors are identified in the available documentation, as this appears to be a new or significantly restructured requirement given the comprehensive scope and recent cancellation.
