This is a Firm Fixed-Price contract solicitation under the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA), classified under NAICS code 238210 (Electrical Contractors and Other Wiring Installation Contractors) with a small business size standard of $19 million in average annual receipts. Contractors must furnish all equipment, materials, labor, and supervision necessary to install Berner Architectural Elite 10 air curtains at three specified doorways—the cafeteria entrance, loading dock hallway, and exterior doorway on the first floor Automation Wing—with the primary objective of preventing generator exhaust fumes from entering the Control Room. The FAA will evaluate proposals and award to the lowest-priced responsible offeror who is registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) at the time of proposal submission. The amended proposal due date is October 29, 2025, at 3:00 PM Central Time, and contractors were required to confirm attendance at a mandatory site visit held on October 9, 2025.
This solicitation has no set-aside designations and will result in a single standalone contract award. The contract value is estimated between $10,000 and $50,000, with a 30-day performance period required after receipt of the Notice to Proceed. Work must be performed Monday through Thursday between 7:00 AM and 5:30 PM, with significant project moratoriums during Thanksgiving (November 22–December 1, 2025) and Christmas/New Year (December 20, 2025–January 5, 2026). Offerors must submit two completed Experience Information Forms demonstrating relevant project experience and must comply with Davis-Bacon wage requirements for construction activities in Bernalillo County, New Mexico. The place of performance is 8000 Louisiana Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87109, and all contractors must coordinate closely with FAA personnel and comply with FAA safety regulations and OSHA standards throughout the installation process.
