The procurement specifies commercially available Alaska yellow cedar lumber totaling approximately 3,852 linear feet across nine categories: 30 pieces of 12"×3"×16' appearance-grade green deck boards; 30 pieces of 1"×4"×16' select tight knot kiln-dried top rails; 42 pieces of 5"×3"×16' appearance-grade green post uprights; 40 pieces of 6"×3"×16' select structural grade appearance-grade green girder beams; 20 pieces of 6"×6"×14' rough-sawn appearance-grade green support footing beams; 10 pieces of 2"×8"×14' select structural grade appearance-grade green X-bracing; 15 pieces of 2"×6"×14' select structural grade appearance-grade green knee bracing; 25 pieces of 2"×10"×14' appearance-grade green scab supports; and 45 pieces of 1"×1"×12' select tight knot kiln-dried spindle trim. All materials must be sourced from sustainably managed forests, comply with the Buy American Act, and demonstrate natural resistance to decay and rot without chemical treatment, withstanding prolonged exposure to moisture, sulfurous gases, and acidic conditions.
Contractor vehicles must pass invasive species inspection no later than 7 days prior to delivery; rejected shipments require vendor-paid treatment before reinspection. The contractor must provide all offloading equipment and coordinate with the Contracting Officer's Representative at least 10 days prior to delivery. Standard commercial manufacturer's warranty covering structural defects, excessive warping, manufacturing defects, and hidden defects is required.
