About this opportunity

The 144th Fighter Wing of the Army National Guard is conducting a Sources Sought market research process for hangar door repair services at BLDG 100. The procurement involves repairing non-functioning automatic doors, with specific repair requirements including replacing steel cables, motors, chains, realigning doors, lubricating tracks, and performing functionality inspections. Interested contractors must submit their responses electronically via email to 144.FW.FAL.MSC.Contracting@us.af.mil by June 21, 2025, using PDF, HTML, MS Word, or PowerPoint formats. The government emphasizes that this is a voluntary Request for Information (RFI) and does not constitute a formal solicitation, with all response costs borne by the participating companies. Responses will help the agency determine the most appropriate procurement method for the hangar door repair project.

The pre-solicitation notice indicates no specific set-aside designation for this opportunity, meaning it is open to all qualified contractors. The procurement falls under NAICS category 238290 for Other Building Equipment Contractors and PSC category Z2EB for Repair or Alteration of Maintenance Buildings. While no specific budget range is provided, the scope appears to be a targeted repair project for specific hangar door components. Submissions are limited to a 15MB total file size, and only written responses will be accepted. The government will not provide telephone feedback or individual evaluations of submissions, and responding to this notice does not guarantee future participation in potential Request for Quotes (RFQ) that may be issued.
