While specific evaluation criteria are not detailed in the pre-solicitation notice, the procurement is classified under NAICS code 811210 (Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance) and PSC code H961 (Other QC/Test/Inspect-Electric Wire and Power Distribution Equipment). Interested parties must submit responses by January 12, 2026, at 10:00 Central Time, with the contract specialist point of contact being Jeffery Eller at the Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office in Greenwood Village, Colorado.

The contract period runs from January 15, 2026, through December 31, 2026, with four additional one-year option periods available, potentially extending the relationship through December 31, 2030. The pre-solicitation notice does not disclose the contract value, estimated budget, or the identity of any current contractor, leaving the award amount and specific quantity of generators to be detailed in the formal solicitation. Given the emphasis on preventive maintenance scheduling and emergency response capabilities, the contractor should be prepared to demonstrate technical expertise in generator systems, reliability, and responsiveness to urgent maintenance requests.
