About this opportunity
The North Texas VA Health Care System is seeking fire extinguisher and fire suppression system inspection services for multiple facilities located in Dallas, Grand Prairie, and Garland, Texas. The agency intends to award a contract providing for monthly inspections of portable fire extinguishers and semi-annual inspections of kitchen and industrial suppression systems according to NFPA standards. Evaluation will be based on price and technical and past performance factors.

The potential single award contract would provide inspection services for an initial base year with four one-year options, covering approximately 1,000 portable fire extinguishers and 50 suppression systems across the locations. Inspections and maintenance would take place at VA medical centers and clinics in the Dallas metropolitan area through January 2027.
