The Department of Veterans Affairs Veterans Integrated Service Network 6 seeks critical water testing services for the Fredericksburg VA Health Care Center's Sterile Processing Service, with quotes due June 8, 2026 at 11:00 AM EDT. This is a total SDVOSB set-aside, foreclosing competition outside that pool.
Place of performance is Fredericksburg, Virginia. The contractor must hold State of Virginia certification for environmental testing and reverse osmosis water testing throughout contract performance. Work scope includes an initial three-day performance qualification event with 592 water samples collected from critical, utility, and steam condensate locations; monthly critical water testing of 66 samples; quarterly utility water testing of 70 samples; and quarterly steam condensate testing of 8 samples over an 11-month period. Testing must comply with ANSI/AAMI ST108:2023 standards and cover pH, conductivity, alkalinity, hardness, heterotrophic plate count, endotoxin, total organic carbon, and additional chemical parameters by water type. The contractor must supply all personnel, equipment, supplies, transportation, and laboratory services, including development and ongoing facilitation of a Water Management Plan. Samplers require a minimum of two years' experience; the point of contact must have five years' experience. Sample results must be reported within contractor-specified turnaround times via email or overnight courier.
