About this opportunity

The National Park Service Intermountain Region is conducting a Sources Sought market research initiative to identify potential contractors capable of supplying a Myers 4VHX75M403 hazardous solids handling wastewater pump for the Flagg Ranch Lift Station at Grand Teton National Park. The procurement seeks a single replacement pump unit with highly specific technical requirements, including a 7.5 HP motor rated for 3-phase, 200V, 60 Hz power with 1750 RPM operation and 30 amps full load amperage. The pump must be capable of handling 3-inch spherical solids, deliver a maximum capacity of 725 GPM, maintain a maximum hydraulic head of 85 feet, and include UL listing for Class I, Division 1, Group D hazardous locations, along with an oil-filled motor, heat sensor, and double tandem mechanical shaft seals. While no specific evaluation criteria are detailed in the Sources Sought notice, the government is prioritizing small business participation, including certified 8(a), HUBZone, service-disabled veteran-owned, and women-owned small business enterprises. Interested parties must submit capability statements of 10 pages or less with supporting documentation and rough price estimates to the Contracting Officer at kiara_stewart@ios.doi.gov by April 24, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. Mountain Time.

This is a Sources Sought posting only and carries no set-aside designation; it does not constitute a formal solicitation or binding commitment by the government to award a contract. No current incumbent contractor or previous award values are identified in the notice. The required delivery date is no later than May 1, 2026, according to the draft specifications, though the Sources Sought document indicates May 31, 2026, as an anticipated delivery deadline. The government will not compensate respondents for information submitted and explicitly reserves the right to conduct a competitive procurement process following the market research phase. Interested contractors should note that the complete Statement of Work will be provided with the formal solicitation and that all inquiries must be submitted in writing to the contracting officer.
