About this opportunity

The National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) is seeking academic institutions to provide advanced virtual training courses in geospatial intelligence through the GEOINT Learning through Academic Programs II (GLAP II) contract. The procurement aims to deliver undergraduate and graduate-level courses in specialized technical areas including Artificial Intelligence, Computer Vision, Data Analytics, Machine Learning, Remote Sensing, and Geospatial Information Analysis. Qualifying contractors must be regionally accredited, preferably with USGIF accreditation, and capable of delivering unclassified virtual training accessible to NGA employees. Potential providers are required to submit a comprehensive white paper no longer than 20 pages by June 2, 2025, at 12:00 pm EST, detailing their experience, course offerings, virtual training capabilities, and ability to meet NGA's technical and security requirements. Evaluation will likely focus on the breadth and depth of course catalog, instructor qualifications, and alignment with NGA's specific training objectives.

The solicitation does not have a specific set-aside designation and is open to all qualified academic institutions. Current incumbent contractors include Missouri University, Saint Louis University, and the United States Geospatial Intelligence Foundation. While specific award values are not disclosed, the program anticipates ordering 15-30 courses annually, with each course limited to 40 total hours and a maximum of 24 students. The contract is expected to run for an estimated five-year ordering period, with courses delivered virtually during standard business hours primarily following Eastern Time. All instructors must be U.S. citizens, and courses will be designed to enhance the geospatial intelligence professional capabilities across government agencies, focusing on gaining knowledge and developing new skillsets rather than obtaining academic credits.
