The evaluation will likely focus on the contractor's ability to meet brand-specific replacement requirements, technical capabilities, and compliance with project specifications.
The procurement is not set aside for any specific small business designation, indicating it is open to a broad range of potential contractors. The government anticipates a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) award, with contractors expected to complete all work within 30 business days after parts delivery. While no specific incumbent contractor is mentioned, the project has a size standard aligned with the $19.0M threshold for the NAICS category. Work is to be performed between 7:00am-4:30pm Monday through Friday and weekends, excluding federal holidays, with contractors required to coordinate with 502 Civil Engineering for base access. The contractor will be responsible for comprehensive equipment installation, including disconnecting and reconnecting gas, water, and electrical lines, performing leak tests, and providing a one-year warranty on materials and workmanship. The project emphasizes minimal facility disruption and full operational status of all replaced equipment in compliance with manufacturer specifications and relevant codes.
