About this opportunity
The Department of the Army Medical Command is seeking a firm-fixed price Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for six full-time equivalent food service workers to support Madigan Army Medical Center's Nutrition Care Division. The selected contractor must provide non-personal food service workers capable of performing duties including setting up serving lines, preparing and serving patient meals, cleaning kitchen equipment, maintaining inventory, and participating in mandatory training across three shifts seven days per week, including federal holidays. Key qualifications include a minimum of one year of food service experience for all workers, effective English communication capabilities, and the ability to work weekends and holidays. Evaluation will be based on a lowest-priced technically acceptable basis, with technical factors including a comprehensive management plan demonstrating recruiting strategies, worker timekeeping procedures, and worker replacement protocols. Vendors must submit their quotes by 10:00 AM PST on December 1, 2025, with the question submission deadline having passed at noon Pacific time on November 21, 2025.
This procurement is set aside exclusively for Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB) concerns with a size standard of $47 million in annual receipts. The current contract is W81K0220P0096, though the government has indicated it will not provide additional details about the incumbent contractor. The contract will run from December 15, 2025 through December 14, 2030, with a maximum quantity of 229,440 quarter hours and billing conducted quarterly based on actual hours worked. Workers will be assigned across three shifts with two employees per shift, maintaining a minimum 90% fill rate, and the government will provide all necessary equipment, supplies, uniforms, and personal protective equipment. The place of performance is McChord Air Force Base in Washington, specifically at Madigan Army Medical Center on Joint Base Lewis-McChord, and all contract payments will be processed through the Wide Area Workflow (WAWF) payment system.
