About this opportunity
The Defense Logistics Agency seeks certified Harris HF Radio support services for new and existing DLA locations within the United States, with quotes due September 18 and award anticipated October 15. This is a sole-source indefinite-delivery contract justified under FAR 6.302-1 due to Harris Corporation's exclusive manufacture, servicing, and certification authority over its HF Radio Systems; only Harris-certified technicians are authorized to perform these services, and use of third-party vendors would void product warranties and create operational risks.
Place of performance includes Battle Creek, Michigan, and subordinate existing locations at Philadelphia and New Cumberland, Pennsylvania; Fort Belvoir, Virginia; Tracy, California; Richmond, Virginia; Columbus, Ohio; and Houston, Texas. The contract runs from October 15, 2026 through October 14, 2028, with an IDC ceiling of $349,999 and minimum of $1. Services encompass site surveys with cost estimates, equipment and parts procurement, installation, calibration, system relocation, repairs, and technical support. Performance shall occur within one year of each funded task order award. The NAICS code is 334118, Computer Terminal and Other Computer Peripheral Equipment Manufacturing; PSC is 7E20. The solicitation is firm-fixed-price, unrestricted, and issued via sam.gov. Evaluation will be conducted on a lowest price technically acceptable basis, requiring offerors to demonstrate ability to meet every aspect of the requirement and provide all deliverables specified in the Bill of Materials and Statement of Work. Quotes must be submitted electronically to josh.stolle@dla.mil. Technical inquiries should be directed to Paul Goebel at Paul.Goebel@dla.mil or (269) 961-4404.
Notice text
The objective is to obtain certified Harris HF Radio Support for new and existing DLA locations within the United States. Due to the proprietary nature of Harris HF Radios, supply chain and distribution challenges, and that Harris Corporation only certifies their technicians to work on Harris Radios, a sole source contract will be required to fulfill the technical support required to expand and maintain emergency and contingency communications architecture at all locations.
