***THE ENTIRETY OF THIS PROJECT IS TO BE COMPLETED IN INTERIOR ALASKA***
This is a solicitation for the Moose Mitigation Project at Fort Greely, Alaska.
The U.S. Army has a requirement to provide moose mitigation measures on the Missile Defense Complex. A new guard booth and gate shall be installed on Robin Road to prevent moose from entering the fenced-in areas. The contractor shall provide all engineering, labor, equipment, and materials to perform the work required, in accordance with specifications and applicable drawings. The contractor shall perform to the standards in the contract as well as all local, state, and federal regulations.
A site visit will be conducted on 31 August 2018 at 9:00 AM Alaska Time at BLDG 603, Conference Room, Fort Greely, Alaska. Failure to attend the site visit listed in FAR Clause 52.236-27 in order identify obvious site conditions does not constitute a valid claim for differing or unforeseen site conditions.
Any questions must be submitted by e-mail to the point of contacts (POCs) identified below no later than 6 September 2018 by 10:00 AM Alaska Time. All questions will be responded to through FedBizOpps.gov (FBO) only.
The period of performance for this project is 180 calendar days after the receiving a notice to proceed (NTP). NTP will be issued 10 days after the date the contract is awarded.
The disclosure of magnitude is between $250,000 and $500,000 IAW FAR 36.204(d).
This acquisition is being solicited as a HUBZone Small Business Set-Aside. The applicable North American Classification System (NAICS) code is 236220, with a size standard of $36.5M.
The Government intends to award one Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) contract for this project.
This solicitation is issued electronically. It is only available via the official Federal Business Opportunities website (www.fbo.gov).
