About this opportunity
The Air Force Research Laboratory, Integrated Capabilities Directorate is soliciting proposals for the Ephemeral Paragon (E-Gon) program, an advanced software suite of tactical single-ship Electronic Warfare (EW) capabilities for the warfighter. The software will focus on algorithm adaptation, EW system management, and data management of the Electromagnetic Operating Environment. This is a 2-step closed call for proposals, with white papers due on July 8, 2024 and proposals requested from selected offerors at a later date. The solicitation covers five technical areas, with the potential for up to five awards ranging from $3.25M to $16.25M per award across the base and two option periods. The total program cost is estimated at $53M.
This solicitation is not set-aside and does not have any incumbent contractors. Foreign participation is not authorized at the prime contractor level. The work will be performed in Dayton, OH. Offerors must have an active Unique Entity ID and approved DD2345 MILITARILY CRITICAL TECHNICAL DATA AGREEMENT to receive the detailed technical information, including classified appendices. The software must be developed, accelerated, integrated, and tested with Big Iron, Sensor Open Systems Architecture (SOSA), and Open Mission systems (OMS) compliant hardware.

Ephemeral Paragon (E-Gon) is being solicited as a 2-STEP CALL FOR PROPOSALS under the Rapid Advanced Capability Transition (ReACT) Multiple Authority Announcement (FA2385-24-S-9701).
E-Gon is an advanced software suite of tactical single-ship Electronic Warfare (EW) capabilities for the warfighter. The combined software suite provides an enhanced understanding of the Electromagnetic Operating Environment (EMOE) with a focus on algorithm adaptation, EW system management, and data management of the EMOE. The software will be developed, accelerated, integrated, and tested with Big Iron, Sensor Open Systems Architecture (SOSA), and Open Mission systems (OMS) compliant hardware.
