About this opportunity
This solicitation by the Department of the Air Force Headquarters Air Force Academy seeks to procure mandatory physical examinations for Non-Appropriated Fund (NAF) employees as a condition of employment. The services required involve providing physical examinations at the contractor's medical facility, with appointments available during all operating hours including weekends. The attending physician will complete the Certificate of Medical Exam form (Optional Form 178) provided by the USAF NAF HR office. The period of performance is a base period plus four option years. Quotes will be evaluated based on price and the offeror's capabilities narrative, with the Government intending to award a contract without discussions.
The solicitation has no set-aside designation. The required services must be provided at the contractor's medical facility located at the Air Force Academy in Colorado. While no potential incumbents or current contractors are named, the Government estimates that over 1,000 NAF and Appropriated Fund employees will require the physical examinations annually. Offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management and have an active WAWF account for electronic invoicing.
