About this opportunity

The Department of the Air Force, specifically the 934th Airlift Wing/Contracting Office, is seeking to procure EasyIO controllers for an Energy Management Control System (EMCS) upgrade at the Minneapolis-St. Paul Air Reserve Station. The solicitation (FA6633-25-Q-A006) is a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for commercial products under a firm fixed-price contract. Key contract requirements include the procurement of 92 EasyIO VAV Controllers, 18 EasyIO FS32 Plant Controllers, and 18 EasyIO FS20 Plant Controllers, with specific technical specifications such as compatibility with Windows 11 and Niagara V4 software, and the capability to permanently disable WIFI and Bluetooth. All contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM), have completed online representations and certifications, and meet the NAICS Code 333415 size standard of 1,250 employees. The response deadline is 27 March 2025, with quotes required to remain valid until 27 May 2025, and a delivery timeline of 90 days after receipt of order.

The solicitation is a 100% Total Small Business Set-Aside, targeting small businesses in the Air-Conditioning and Warm Air Heating Equipment Manufacturing sector. Potential vendors include Broudy Precision and Energy Control Technologies, though the government intends to award a single purchase order. While a specific award value is not explicitly stated, the procurement focuses on hardware components to upgrade the existing EMCS infrastructure and resolve open IGEMS deficiencies. The place of performance is Minneapolis, MN 55450, and the contract does not include software, training, or installation services. Contractors must submit written quotes electronically, with no oral offers accepted, and must provide company information including Unique Entity Identifier (UEI) and Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) code. The solicitation emphasizes the need for manufacturers' standard warranties with no refurbished parts accepted, ensuring high-quality equipment for the Air Force Reserve Command's facility upgrade.
