About this opportunity

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Transportation Security Administration (TSA) is seeking innovative commercial solutions for Automated Field Data Collection capabilities through its Commercial Solutions Opening Pilot (CSOP) program. The purpose is to procure solutions that can collect operational data, such as passenger processing times and reasons for secondary screening, which cannot be retrieved from existing security equipment. The solicitation outlines a two-phase evaluation process, where vendors must first submit a written solution brief by May 24, 2024, which may be followed by an optional technical demonstration. Vendors with successful Phase 1 submissions will then be invited to provide full proposals in Phase 2. Proposals will be evaluated based on technical approach, transition to operations, and vendor experience.

This solicitation is not set-aside for any particular business type. The CSOP program is designed to minimize administrative burden and maximize efficiency for both the government and industry. Awards are intended to be made throughout fiscal year 2024, subject to availability of funds, with the contract being a firm-fixed-price non-FAR based agreement. The place of performance is the United States, and all potential recipients must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to award.
