JOB DESCRIPTION:
The work consists of the design and construction of a new 320-person AIT Barracks located at the Presidio of Monterey, CA. This work will be performed in two phases. Phase 2 will include construction of barracks complex located on a small hillside parking lot and three additional parking lots. The site for the barracks building is the parking lot for another barracks. The site is small, sits above the adjacent road by 15', and emergency access to nearby barracks must be maintained. The project includes development of design deliverables for review (60% & 90% submittals plus backcheck processes), and design deliverables for all necessary and appropriate architectural and engineering disciplines will be involved. Berthing module layout includes entrance into a common kitchen/meeting area with a common toilet & shower room and two private bedrooms. Each berthing module will berths two persons.
