About this opportunity
Naval Facilities Engineering Command is conducting market research for design-bid-build repairs to P171 Weapons Magazines at Naval Weapons Station Yorktown, Virginia, with sources-sought responses due May 25, 2026 at 2:00 PM Eastern Time. The Navy seeks commercially available suppliers capable of providing the AIRVAC 911 Engine Exhaust Removal System (a fully-automated, self-contained, hoseless system for removing engine exhaust from indoor parking areas) and repair services for existing Vertical Lifting Fabric Doors manufactured by Assa Abloy Entrance Systems (Megadoor product line). Both systems are required for weapons magazine buildings to meet explosives safety and ventilation requirements without building penetrations.
Interested vendors must submit capabilities statements not exceeding 5 pages and 4 MB file size, including completed company information (Attachment 1), product technical specifications, and datasheets. Submissions go to Kristy Gerrek at kristy.l.gerrek.civ@us.navy.mil. Late responses will not be considered. The Government is not obligated to pay for information submitted and will use responses to determine source availability prior to finalizing acquisition method and issuing an award.
