The Department of Veterans Affairs Veterans Integrated Service Network 17 seeks delivery and installation of healthcare furniture casework for 11 new dental operatory rooms at the Central Texas VA Medical Center in Temple, Texas, with proposals due July 10, 2026. This is a 100% Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business set-aside; offerors must be verified and listed in the VA VIP database.
Place of performance is Building 163, 1901 Veterans Memorial Drive, Temple, Texas 76504. The casework must match existing A-Dec equipment and integrate seamlessly into the expansion space. Preliminary color selections are Biltmore Cherry laminate and Pebble 9036EA countertop. Each of the 11 rooms requires two sinks with faucets and foot controls; the Government provides rough-in utility locations and room dimensions. The contractor must provide all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, and supervision, including plumbing for sinks. The casework requirement is brand name or better, with visual and functional compatibility with A-Dec equipment acceptable without physical attachment. Alternative cabinet configurations and countertop materials meeting salient characteristics in the Statement of Work are acceptable. Delivery is required no later than September 1, 2026, and the contractor must provide accurate lead times and delivery timelines demonstrating commitment to this deadline.
The contractor must attend three in-person meetings, provide sample materials within two days, obtain VA Contracting Officer Representative clearance before production, supply final scaled drawings, and track manufacturing schedules. The contract type is Firm-Fixed-Price with 180-day delivery after receipt of order. The contractor must perform 50% of supply work in-house and cannot subcontract to non-VIP-listed SDVOSBs beyond this threshold. The Central Texas Veterans Health Care System has a requirement for healthcare furniture casework for the 1ˢᵗ floor, building 163 Dental expansion, located at 1901 Veterans Memorial Drive, Temple, Texas 76504, (See Attachment A (Site map)), that meet the SOW specifications and high-quality threshold while integrating excellent environmental stewardship.
This requirement includes healthcare furniture casework & professional installation. This case
work is needed for the expansion of the Dental Clinic and the addition of 11 new exam/procedure
rooms. This case work needs to match existing and seamlessly integrate into the A-Dec equipment
purchased for the exam rooms. Therefore, this requirement is brand name or better.
Healthcare casework includes PPE storage cabinets, solid surface countertops, and related
services.
The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, and supervision
necessary to satisfy the needs of each ordering activity.
