About this file
This is Amendment 0002 to Solicitation 36C25726Q0636 issued by the Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office 17 in San Antonio, Texas on June 25, 2026. The amendment extends the deadline for receipt of proposals from 1200 CDT on July 2, 2026, to 1200 CDT on July 10, 2026. The Government seeks delivery and installation of dental casework no later than September 1, 2026, and requires offerors to provide delivery timelines and lead times to meet this deadline to the maximum extent possible. The amendment also provides site visit availability on June 30 and July 1, 2026, between 7:30 AM to 11:30 AM and 1:30 PM to 4:00 PM CST, with vendors required to contact Bradley Arndt at Bradley.Arndt@va.gov or 254-743-4988 to schedule.
The amendment includes 19 Questions and Answers addressing procurement requirements for dental casework for 11 operatories. Key clarifications include: submission in AutoCAD and PDF format; visual and functional compatibility with A-dec equipment is acceptable without physical attachment; alternative cabinet configurations and countertop materials meeting salient characteristics in the Statement of Work (SOW) are acceptable; preliminary color selections are Biltmore Cherry laminate and Pebble 9036EA countertop; two sinks with faucets and foot controls are required in each room with plumbing provided by the contractor; rough-in utility locations and room dimensions will be provided by the Government; and evaluation will be performance-based on compliance with salient characteristics rather than exact duplication of proprietary methods. The casework should match existing casework in the 16 existing rooms to ensure consistency throughout the entire dental clinic space.
