About this opportunity
The solicitation seeks offers to provide courier services for the transportation of blood products, laboratory specimens, and other medical items between Womack Army Medical Center at Fort Bragg, North Carolina and facilities in Fayetteville, North Carolina from October 2020 through September 2025. The Department of the Army Medical Command is procuring these services and is requiring couriers to transport specimens for the Department of Pathology and blood and blood products for the Donor Center. Offerors must submit all information to SFC Elise Rivelli by September 22, 2020 at 4:00 PM EST and evaluation will consider technical qualifications and price.
The requirement is set aside for total small businesses under NAICS code 492110 with a size standard of $8 million. The place of performance will be Fort Bragg, North Carolina and includes estimated monthly quantities of specimens and blood products to be transported. The period of performance is a base year with four option years running from October 2020 to September 2025.

Womack Army Medical Center (WAMC), Fort Bragg, North Carolina 28310, intends to award a Courier Service contract (1 October 2020 through 30 September 2025) for transport of blood products to WAMC, Fort Bragg, NC; two Veteran Affairs hospitals, Fayetteville, NC; and other locations along the eastern coast.
